At week 7 I'm taking 40 mg Parnate for breakfast and 20 mg for lunch, with no problems so far regarding spontaneous combustion (or hypertension). My pdoc recommends not dosing very late in the day due to possible exacerbation of insomnia. In my own experience, the afternoon sedation went away within two or three weeks of starting Parnate, and a within few days after increasing the dosage. I don't know anything about Wellbutrin, but I'm avoiding any polypharmacy as much as possible to give Parnate its best chance. My one exception is Ambien/Stilnox for the insomnia. Good luck.

Piquet.
