Aspirin is used for fever, pain, inflammation, and blood thinning. People use benadryl to help them sleep. Musicians sometimes get prescribed beta blockers for stage fright.

Don't sweat about whether something is labelled as an antipsychotic. The important thing is whether it works for your symptoms and if the side effect profile is acceptable to you. Heck, if you get food poisoning you might get prescribed compazine (an antipsychotic) for the nausea!
