I currently take Seroquel at 25mg/night, to help me to sleep and also to act as a mood stabilizer. I also take Lexapro 10mg each morning. It _does_ help me to sleep, and it _does_ stabilize my moods, as do occasionally get hypomanic. I also will occasionally take a half tablet of Seroquel for breakthrough hypomania.

I find that if I take 50mg of Seroquel for a couple of nights in a row, then I get a "Seroquel hangover" - feels like a sinus headache. Moving back to 25mg fixed that right away.

I realize that Seroquel is an anti-psychotic and I've never had a psychotic episode, but it does do for me what I need, so I ignore it's primary use. I am doing well on the Lexapro/Seroquel combination and that's all that matters to me. My quality of life is greatly improved with these two substances.
