I've never taken Sonata. I have 10mg Ambien pills for when I cannot sleep. The doctor gave me five refills because I'm a chronic insomniac. He told me not to take them too often. I find that when I take Ambien I have deeper and more long lasting sleep. I used to take Klonopin 1mg at night. I find that Ambien works better for me as an anxiety-reducing/sleep inducing agent for night-time.
