Does clonazepam eventually lose its effect?

Posted by Guy on May 14, 2004, at 18:02:06

Clonazepam really helps me with my anxiety and insomnia, but I don't take it regularly or in large enough doses to give me real, lasting relief. This is because I am afraid it will eventually poop out and leave me up the creek without a paddle (ie. addicted to a med that has lost its effect, and that could actually add to my anxiety). Right now I am on Zyprexa 10 mg, but that is not cutting the mustard. I really need the clonazepam to have a better quality of life. Have tried countless anti-depressants over the past 8 years, all to no avail.
