Robz- you have 2 excellent questions.

First of all, knowing when to discontinue a drug is a tough issue. When did you first feel depressed? Did there seem to be a specific reason for your depression? How long have you been on antidepressants?

Timing is also important. For example, if you have final exams coming up soon, you probably do not want to discontinue right now.

As for sexual side effects, the best solution is usually to use a drug like Viagra if you are a male. Ginseng is an herb which has helped counter my sexual side effects. For some people it helps to add Wellbutrin, Remeron, or Ritalin. Yohmibe can also work but it causes a lot of jitteriness.
