Ace--I've tried it 3 times for long-term treatment resistant dsepression. Same results each time: within 3-4 days a very encouraging and welcome mood elevation (found myself singing with the radio for thew first time in a long time), then within another 3-4 days complete loss of benefit, and as I escalated the dose, a worsening depression that took me lower than when I started. At 57, I suspect my brain is dopamine deficient, and the Wellbutrin effectively used what was there until it ran out. I've also read several posts (some citing references) that claim that Wellbutrin use will ultimately deplete dopamine resources. Of course if you're younger and blessed with an abundant supply, this may not be an issue. I'm now on a Parnate trial and will continue posting as I see results, or lack thereof. Good luck
