Yes, it worked. I took it for a year and a half for depression. The purples two to three times a day (I would forget sometimes) I had alopecia in the beginning (hair loss, patches) and tinnutis. The tinnutis wasn't unpleasant though, I used it to remind me to take my meds. After a year and a half though I felt that I was stable and hoped that I could go off and be reset. Also, I was really annoyed with another major side effect: word ordering. I would mix up words, for example I would say "I am storing to the go." Or Can you shoe me that hand? Really weird and scary. Not constant but enough to annoy me and make me seem befuddled. I have friends who have the same problem with it. One takes it for ADD and is happy. I also lost lots of weight. Now I am trying Lexapro because apparently life without ads may not be possible for me. Then again I may have messed myself up again by using marijuana. Or I was using it because the depression was coming back. Hard to say, but I hope that helps.
