Hi Ace.
I'm doing pretty crappy, but thanks for asking. I started taking Gabitril about a week ago, and I think it is making me feel significantly worse. My doctor wants to focus on postsynaptic downstream events, and I'm not sure exactly what he has planned. I guess his choice of Gabitril was meant to address this. I guess you don't know until you try, but my Thanksgiving was ruined as the depression was too crushing and I just did not want to leave the house. It is demoralizing to have to disappoint other people all the time.
Yes, I have tried moclobemide. It was the absolutely the worst drug I have ever taken. It exacerbated my depression to a degree that I was left curled up on the couch wimpering. It was truly a painful experience. I found some research that suggests to me that moclobemide has the potential to deplete dopamine stores. Obviously, not everyone reacts to moclobemide the same way.
Good luck with amisulpride.
