Of course, there are success stories. Moclobemide has a tendency to "poop-out" after only a few weeks. It very often produces an improvement during the first week at low dosages. Thereafter, it takes higher and higher dosages to recapture the antidepressant response.I agree. I've seen this quit a bit. My doctor has noticed this too.
It is a perfectly reasonably choice of drugs, but I think it is important to keep in mind that some people need as much as 900mg to obtain a sustained response.Hmmm...but does it even sustain at THAT dose?
One thing nice about moclobemide is that it usually produces few side-effects.
