Interesting article, thanks for sharing it. I have looked up anti-psychotics and found suggestive studies like this. I do know that alcohol abuse is implicated in varied cancers, and valium abuse is associated with breast cancer. Anecdotally, I had two relatives (one related/one marriage) and they both sank down tons of Valium. I do really mean that they abused the stuff. Very sadly, they both died in their 50s, one right after the other, of stomach cancers. They did also smoke, though.

My message? Only take meds if you have to. Whenever there is a way to get away without, that's what I'd do. But I do realize now that my life most likely will be shortened by a long shot if I don't take meds--so I'm in for the duration.
