Chris,
I'm going to go a different route with you.Do you like working out? weights/cardio? If you dont want to get on meds you have to go at it 100%,work on exposure therapy get that heartrate going, get dizzy, realize you'll be ok.Learn to work with panic and anxiety and work on positive self talk in your head.Countering the negative self-talk is going to be critical for you.You can do it though.-Vitamin C-3-5 grams a day
-creatine-5 grams a day
-l-glutamine-15 grams a day
-very good one here!!!! ZMA-this is 30mgs zinc(a special kind) with 450mgs Magnesium as asparte, and gaba 300mgs.
-Vitamin b complex
-alpha lipoic acid-good stuff!!
-l-glycine
-reishi mushrooms
-vandayl-Ive used this with good results
-bcaa's
-omega 3 fatty acids
-maybe some pro-hormones
-chromium to keep glucose levels steady.
-lemon balm
-hops
-dhea
-melatoninWorkout with weights, set goals, clean up your diet,do cardio, get some good sleep, take a little caffiene and work on exposure therapy, work on cognitive therapy, progressive muscle relaxation, visulization etc..I know this isnt what you were looking for but I figuered I try.

Take care> > Hi!
I've tried a Cal/Mag pill in the past, but didn't notice much. Is there a particular brand or amount you'd recomomend? I'd be willing to try it again. I've never taken Potassium or Zinc alone, just in a multi. Again, brand and amount advice appreciated.

Sigh. That seems to be the way my life is headed too. I've been on meds in the past, but would like to manage my GAD without them. However, so far, nothing has worked better than SSRIs, despite their hateful side effects.
Anyway, j, thanks for the feedback.
