Kristen,
That's great that you went out biking. Exercise always helps me feel a lot better long term, rather than doing something like overeating and regreting it later. I've had that amonia smell too - if I run for over an hour in hot weather. I can't remember why it occurs, but it's completely normal to have happen. I sometimes get that "runners high" (happens with other sports too) when I go for a run at a fast pace or run for several hours - I think it's because of something called endorphins.
I increased the Serequel to 150mg on Friday and felt fine. I heard that it was good to take Serequel 12 hours before you want to wake up so on Sat I took it at 8pm (big mistake) and then went out to dinner with my friends - an hour later I was starting to feel drugged and they really noticed. And I ate a lot more than I normally would have - and I had dessert which is something I rarely do. I think I know what you mean about how hungry the Serequel can make you. I'm never taking it before I eat again. But the great thing is that I was wide awake at 6am the next morning - didn't feel like a zombie. But I still wonder if I can tolerate 300mg of it. I guess I'll have to find out.
Lisa> I know this may not be of any interest to some, but I'll tell ya, I haven't exercised in months and I rode my new bike for 1/2 hour. When I got off, it felt like I had been on a horse, and my pack of smokes didn't even look appealing. Geez, I sound like a little kid-but it is so true.
> **What is anyone's opinion on the feel good chemicals that are produced when we exercise????
> I had a weird taste in my mouth, and my nose picked up a strong amonia-like scent. I really would be very interested in anyone's psychological, but more so, biological view on why this may have occured????? I was thinking wow-I really wouldn't have to take meds if I just exercised-but then I snapped myself back into reality lol Anyway, I'm smoking now, but for about an hour of my life-I felt like the old Kristen-fit, happy, and cigs made me wanna puke.
> I would really love to hear others' opinions on this:-)
> Thanks, Kristen
