Let me further my comments with this... The reason people die; Its called abuse. There are people that dont abuse it. I'm very upset how the FDA portrays the 67 deaths of GHB since 2000. And not one is directly linked to GHB. Other drugs, and incompitant coronors need to be examined. Each year tylenol kills 52,000 people yes,(acetomenophen) sold over the counter. Each year 12,000 people are killed by drunk drivers. 39,000 are killed by lung cancer because of
cigarretes... 300 babies die a year of drowning, 14 people die of lightning strikes. These are all actual statistics. When alcohol becomes addicting for someone why isnt it scheduled drug? Or deemed evil by the publics eyes?
When cigarettes become addictted why isnt that scheduled?
The government wont sell it as a cure for depression or anxiety but for narcolepsy, because of mass drug competetion. Xyrem which is GHB, the company that makes it, Orphan Medical said GHB is not addictive. Though this is probably true with other ANTI-Anxiety drug ANTI-depressant drug when stopped. People go through withdrawls, have you not been reading the boards???
GHB withdrawls are a mere 2 to 4 days. Paxil withdrawls can last weeks! I know, I've gone through it.http://www.ceri.com/ghbpage.shtml
