It's approved for narcolepsy, and the FDA has placed it in Schedule III. I wonder how likely it is that doctors will prescribe it off-label, given the media frenzy over GHB. (Narcolepsy is a pretty small market.)
I've been off the board for a while. I take it that you've been diagnosed with a sleep apnea syndrome. Sorry to hear it. What medication are you using? I didn't know that there was any medication for SA.
Anyone here looking at Xyrem as a possible treatment? If so, for what? I've heard it's wonderful for insomnia, but tolerance develops quickly.
