I was put on Topamax (75 mg) in addition to Zoloft (150 mg.) for binge eating disorder and depression. After about 6 weeks on topamax I gained 12 pounds. I had to stop going to the gym because I couldn't get up in the morning. I was late for work 20 times. I felt like I couldn't move, didn't want to get out of bed. I was more depressed than I'd ever been before being on meds. I called my doctor in tears and told him I couldn't take the topamax anymore, I felt like it was killing me. Two weeks after stopping it I feel 100% better.
