Pharmrep,
Since I have noticed that you haven't responded to this site in a while, I can only assume you have been justly fired from your job with Forest! As an experienced, honest and ethical Pharmaceutical sales rep, I have to say I was astonished at the advice and "promotion" of your product to consumers over the internet and your condescending attitude towards a practicing Psych. You must know that this type of behavior is totally against all of the policies your company and you must adhere to. Since you seem to know "everything" about "everything" you must know this as well and how much trouble you could get Forest and yourself into. I realize that time with the Drs is hard to come by (oh, that's right, you get more than most) It is unethical to consult consumers about your product over the internet! Keep the "selling" to the Drs and nurses in your offices! I am sorry that these people are so desperate for advice and help that they are seeking out your "brainwashed" ideas. It really is a diservice to them. I have been in the business long enough to know that we can all put a "spin" on things, studies included, to make our products sound like "the best" Afterall, that is what we get paid for. Giving advice to innocent consumers is sinking pretty low. You must be desperate for sales. If Lexapro is so great, you shouldn't have to sell it on the internet. You give pharm reps a bad name, shame on you!
