I am only taking 150mg /day. I have taken up to 300mg/day, but I get nauseated from meds real easily and I couldn't stomach it. 600mg of Trileptal translates into approx. 400mg of Tegretol daily and that is a common dose for bipolar. Maybe the dose you are on is the right one and you don't need to increase it any more?
