What is considered a tiny dose of Trileptal?

I have mild mood swings and do'nt want to overdo the trileptal. All the other mood stabilizers ended up making me worse. I'd like to stick to the minimum mood stabilizing dose or lower so that it does'nt make me depressed. I'm currently taking 600mg in the evening.
