I called Columbia a little while back and one of the people involved with a study there was very impressed with the response. They hadn't gotten the results back, but the people in the study got better and they felt very good about it. They said the drug should be out the first quarter of next year. The side-effects are definitely minimal (good news, no sexual side-effects), but I haven't heard anything about the effect being superior to the SSRIs. I believe the company that makes the drug is Organon so you might want to check out their website.
