My experience with it:Good points: No sexual sfx. It was remarkably effective at reducing *anticipatory* anxiety and agitation (more so than any non-benzo/non-AP med I've ever taken). Good for sleep. Didn't gain any weight. Definitely worked best for anxiety.
Bad points: Fatigue, dizziness, difficulty focusing my eyes, some cognitive dysfunction. Did not have the positive impact on *mood* that a standard SSRI has (weak AD effect-felt a little lazy on it and unmotivated).
I wonder if a small dose of a standard, relatively non-sedative SSRI (Lexapro, Prozac), combined with a small dose of Serzone might work quite well.
