In reply to staying on Nardil. nothings close!, posted by ross c on October 29, 2002, at 21:36:20
Ross -
I'm glad to hear the news! I am also glad to hear you mention that at the next lowest dose you mentioned no side effects (or low if that's what you meant).
In any case - I am glad you are going to take the risk - which is the risk associated with making gains (which might mean change down the line if you choose). It is worth it - at least for me it was 100%.
Also - if anything you want to write to me at anytime please do just remember me by my natural (untreated state) SOCIALFEAR. That is me, w/o meds, at http://www.SOCIALFEAR.com/
Lastly - wanted to mention - that since there seems to be such a difference in sexual side effects between 60-75 - don't forget you can split pills too - so perhaps somewhere in between there you might prefer.
REmember too Nardil can be augmented with some meds - so lower dose can work out - that is what I have done for the majority of time I have taken Nardil - though I definitely do not regret the 2.5 years I took Nardil high dose - would not take that back if I could.
Best,
Chad
> chad and the boys i am staying put on Nardil. nothing ever came close to this med. i will get back to 75mgs which was the pristine dose for me. as far as constipation, today i made an appt. with a GI in 2 weeks so he should have some advice or give me something to go to the bathroom. ill ride 60mgs out as long as i can because at 60 i have no side effects. at 75mg anorgasmia rears its ugly head but id rather be happy then you know right now as am single.. i am on a total bran diet and it is fine. see dr. in 2 days and asking about some amantadine.
> Nardil is the ultimate med for all 3 phases of anxiety and also depression.
