Hi, thank you for your feed back. I, too, observed this contradition between what was being reported and what was listed on side effect lists. I have found references to relief of hotflashes in the Mayo Clinic Newsletter I subscribe to and hunting through Google using effexor neurontin hot flashes. As I said, these studies are small and I only consider it because nothing else has worked. I know I am 'just getting old', and time should probably help, but at the same time, aaaawwwkkkkk, IT MIGHT NOT!! I have been having this interrupted sleep for going on three years and would like to get something to help. I have this desperate feeling that I will be like this forever. Some people DO, you know.... Sigh. I guess, I mostly would like closure. If this is something I will just have to deal with, then, hey, I have dealt with it for three years, yes? and I will come to terms with it. However, 10 times a night seems a little excessive, don't you thinK? Anyway, that is the plan at this point...
