Your pdoc sounds kind of set in his ways. If you're already getting intolerable sedation from the Seroquel, I just can't understand increasing the dosage. As for the Prozac, it's common for meds to quit working after long term use. Check all the old threads about "poop-out". I don't know what people do about poop-out except switch meds. Mine all seem to poop out after about 2 years.
Prozac is also notorious for killing the libido. All the SSRIs seem to do that, but some worse than others, and individual response varies. I find Celexa much better than Prozac in that respect. I also tried Wellbutrin, since it's the usual choice for an AD without the sexual side effects, but it make me terribly irritable. Why not ask him about trying Celexa or the new Lexapro instead of the Prozac?
