In our litigious society we have forced this issue and there is no therapeutic courtesy to spare those of us who might be frightened anyway due to our illness.

The newer OTC analgesics just have not been around as long and we don't really know how they will affect us in the long-term...Like our psych meds.

There are many more agents in an herbal preparation than in regulated medicine. Here are some things I have learned not to take on my combo, (Celexa, Wellbutrin, Klonopin)

This means I need to be more careful of anything that might affect my mood whether it is chemical or just life situations. The medication works only so well. Therapy is a must and I've come to accept that some lifestyle changes are and have been necessary for me.

Simcha,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. Holistic health has been my life for 6 years. You name it, herbalism, aryveda, yoga, vegetarianism, veganism,
tinctures and such. I of all people have had a huge stigma behind medicating my depression. Sometimes we have to have faith, even in what we fear or have warded off I suppose. So i'm giving this Lexapro a shot and as I said, i'm gulping pots of coffee due to fatigue. A minor dealing as compared to suicide ideation.
The night is falling and my cold is progressing, my throat is killing me and I remain fearful of taking anything for relief.
Again I thank you.
Omshanti,
Prima
