Thanks for the info. Years ago I was given Periactin for trigeminal neuralgia along with another medication (can't remember--25 years ago). While on the Periactin I had the best sleep I could remember. Not realizing at the time I was probably in a pastpartum depression and perhaps the Periactin did more than stop the excruciating pain. Is that possible?Are there any similarities between Periactin and klonopin or Celexa other than they both make sleep possible? ex. does Klonopin block 5-HT2 and 5-HT3 receptors?
