> In reading some of the posts I came across this one.."So he started taking the claritin and his sexual side effects went away. So his psychiatrist thought, what the heck and tried it on a few other patients and it worked. My doctor only has the one study published" Where is this study published? I think people should read it before we all start taking the meds claritin, I would like to know more about it and where to read the research..thanks Mari

There is research that shows the antihistamine cyproheptadine (Periactin) can help with SSRI induced sexual problems. My pdoc recommended it as one option to try but I didn't. Since Claritin is an antihistamine perhaps it would help.
I decided to use the drug holiday method.
There may be some on this board who are taking Claritin for allergies and it would be interesting to know if they have inadvertently found that it reduces sexual side effects.
