I think we can drive ourselves nuts trying to determine the pH of everything we ingest. I try to avoid the most acidic substances during the day, like citrus juices, vitamin C, etc. I take my vitamins at night now. Unfortunately, so much of what we eat is acidic. Coffee is acidic. Sodas are acidic. The CO2 causes sodas to be acidic, and nearly all sodas contain phosphoric acid (by the way, the phosphoric acid is VERY BAD for your teeth, possibly even worse than sugar). I would try to avoid taking very acidic substances during the day, but you don't want to avoid citrus fruits altogether. You need to eat fruit.
