the sound of wind chimes creeps me out

wind chimes are supposed to have a "beautiful" sound but hearing them gives me a creepy, eerie feeling. sometimes I have this feeling anyway, especially in the afternoon (mornings are better for me). but wind chimes exacerbate it.
does anyone know what I'm talking about? has anyone felt this? what is it?
