> I have been reading up on reboxetine and am convinced that it is the AD for me. I get way too sedated and fat on SSRIs and I have the kind of depression that results in severe lethargy and non-motivation. For what it's worth, I also took the quiz on mindfixers.com and it said my problem was being low in NE and could probably use a little dopamine but it said nothing about needing serotonin. From what I've read about reboxetine it sure sounds like it's the kind of AD for my kind of depression. I was thinking of bringing it up to my pdoc but since it's not approved by the FDA yet and only available mail-order I wasn't sure he would be too hip on it. Do any of you have any experience with it? I'd love to provide my pdoc with testimonials if anyone has any.
There are people who post and read here that have tried reboxetine-you might need to do a search on it (here) and see what you can dig up. I remember seeing quite a few posts over the past couple of years. I would certainly like to try it-the type of depression I am starting to become immersed in is the apathetic, couch-potato, yawning type of depression, too.
