You really need to see the appropriate physicians to understand the roots of your jaw pain. On another thread, you mentioned that you were taking antiseizure medicines? Are you still taking these?
If you rule out TMJ, and possible seizure related issues, or facial neuralgia (maybe best treated with a antiseizure medicine), and you still have difficulty with insomnia and jaw pain, my recommendation may be to augment the Effexor with Serzone. The Serzone has a potential to make you feel dizzy. But it usually improves sleep architecture and may help with antidepressant induced jaw pain (I'm assuming you aren't taking any psychostimulants, these may also cause jaw pain).
Just some thoughts.
