Lots of medications will blur your eyes just a tad. It doesn't even matter what kind of med--it seems to be one of those side effects listed on lots of monographs. I'm slightly far-sighted (my prescription would be a + .5; they don't even make one that small). I took Tequin, an antibiotic, for three days (three doses). For two months, I had arthritis in my entire body, and my vision was blurred. I went to the movies one day and couldn't even focus on the big faces on the screen. For those two months, I wore a +1. Suddenly, the arthritis and blurred vision just went away.
If you haven't been to the eye doc in a while, you might also find that this is a coincidence. Lots of problems that we're diagnosed with or have as kids go away when we are better able to control our muscles. Then, when we're about 36 (my eye doc says), whammo! It comes back. It's almost as if your birthday comes, and your eyes go at the same time. That's because your eye muscles lose some of their ability to compensate for previous troubles--some or all of the time. So could it coincidentally be your age in the mix, too?
Dry eyes focus less well, too, so use an additive-free eye lube like Visene tears (I think) at night before bed, in the morning, and at midday. If it really bugs you, and your prescription has changed a lot, you'll have to decide if the relief you get is worth this trade. Talk to your doc, but I don't think it will get worse. It may not change, but you'll probably get used to it soon enough.
I hope this helps. (I learned it through a few "argh! what's happening to me?" visits to my own eye doc.)
