This is...quasi-applicable.
I had taken Zoloft about 4 years ago for a year, it did a fair job, I stopped it, no problem. When I was hospitalized for an attempt last april, the doc started me on Paxil. About a month later I was feeling worse...now this is obviously not an "all things being equal" situation because I was in the middle of a major depressive episode beforehand...but there was just something funny about it and I just knew it was the Paxil. It was doing the opposite of everything it was supposed to do....more anxiety, more obsessing, sleep problems, suicidal thoughts. I stopped taking it cold turkey and these thought went away...HOWEVER, I thrice payed my weight in gold's equivalent in absolute physical-nightmarish-horror for about 7 WEEKS! It just would not stop....you know what I'm talking about, the withdrawal symptoms that supposedly "Don't show up in Paxil's research", etc. B.S. That stuff is POISON in my body...My brain felt like it was being stunned with a 9 volt battery all day and all night...sometimes twice a minute, sometimes every 4 seconds. Anytime I rotated my head on the vertical axis, I experienced vertigo. It was worse than any depression. (rambling clipped)
