I tried same at one time but it was only partially effective. If you are GAD there is always Buspar (generally less effective especially after having used Klon.) or the other BZD's. Perhaps you may already know this but one reacts as differently to the different BZD's as one does to the differing ssri's for instance. What else have you tried? I also did notice a different, deeper, more profound effect on my CNS with Klon. than for instance ativan or xanax, or even valium.

I presently take a small dose of Klon as a maint. dose and augment with a small dose ativan as maint. The combination works quite well....and if I have any breakthrough panic which the klon alone generally doesn't usually cover for me, the Ativan can be upped temporarily PRN.
