Remeron is an awesome antidepressant. However it is one of the most sedating ADs and for that reason I think it should be used more for agitated depression. Its fantastic for insomnia. However anyone who is sleeping too much from depression would be best off staying away from Remeron, due to its sedating profile.

Have you tried plain old SSRIs? The SSRIs are not as sedating as Remeron and tend to be more activating.
