Unfortunately psychiatry is rather expensive.
The discount psychiatrist are likely to be
new grads looking to build up a practice. You
may get some good recommendations with the
proper connections.I grew up in the chicago area. Maybe I can dig
into this a little for you. I know some people
who specialize in social work so they may have
some ideas. What is your current diagnosis and
treatment plan, maybe pbabble experienced people
can help direct you in the mean while? Believe
me, a lot of people on this thread are as knowledgable
as 50% of psychiatrists and have actually taken
the meds. But this is not a replacement for a
thorough exam from a psychiatrist/pdoc, etc.-john
