If you are one of the few who can take it without having that side effect, you will be very lucky. It also worked much faster than Geodon seemed to. I was told that I would know within a WEEK if it was working for me but actually, I felt awesome the very next day. My pdoc said that is possible. I think I explained how the Geodon is helping me and that ( for me,) it has made my already insomnical self even more so, hence the Trazodone (on top of the Soma, Xanax and Benedryl I already was taking to sleep because of Prozac). Oh, and I have been taking Geodon ( a daily total of 40 mgs) for a month. I don't know what dosage works best...my pdoc is on vacation and I will discuss where to go with it when he gets back. Unfortunately, I still feel like I need more....motivation and energy. What is your story? Collette
