laparoscopic hysterectomy
Just to stop the bleeding. My docts (I have a OB/GYN; an endocrynologist; and an internist) were giving me LoOvral 4 pills/day to try and stop my bleeding and it didn't work. They also tried giving me Provera? I go from none to nonstop--it's never correct. Anyway ... it hasn't been so bad this year. If it gets bad again (and, more than likely it will) I am going to ask for this type of surgery.
Would you need hormones after that type of surgery?
And, if you think of the names of any of the hormone specialists please let me know. I'm not impressed with my endo. and ob/gyn solutions to this problem.
Thanks
Most female surgery means that you need to use hormones afterward because your body's ability to manufacture them is affected. Research doctors in your area that specialize in hormones. They can check your levels of each hormone and balance them. My experience is that this doctor is generally not an ob/gyn or an endocrinologist but a clinic that specializes in hormones.
