SSRIs How can U know when they kick in?

Hi, this is my first post on any forum, so bear with me. Just started taking Effexor XR, four weeks and counting, so how are you supposed to feel when they start to work?. I keep thinking 'Oh there it is' and then realising its not. I have been on prozac before for a long time and to no noticable effect. Anyone care to recount some experiances?
