For people who have an underlying cyclical mood-swing problem or bipolar disorder ("manic-depressive" illness), and not just depression, OCD, or anxiety alone, antidepressants can cause faster mood cycling, so they often have to take mood stabilizers like lithium too. I hope your side effects go away and that you get some relief!
