In reply to Zoloft side effects...anyone please, posted by jacquie on April 11, 2001, at 15:55:10
That was actualy the first AD I was on several years ago. Like other SSRI's, it takes several weeks to really set in to where you can feel the full effects. I had problems with upset stomach and lack of libido that lasted the duration of treatment. The GI problems were lessoned, but not eliminated by taking it in the PM with dinner.
I forget what dose I was on.
My fiance has eyes the color of a 50 mg. zoloft tab.Unless it's absolutely unbearable, wait until you get up to the full dose to decide what you think.
