Aderall + Wellbutrin + St. John's Wort??

Posted by Cindylou on April 2, 2001, at 20:30:20

Has anyone heard of this combo of meds?

I am currently taking 300 mg. of Wellbutrin daily, plus 37.5 mg. of Effexor -- but I am tapering off the Effexor due to fatigue.

My nutritionist and psych. said St. John's Wort may be a good alternative to the Effexor, since I cannot tolerate any SSRIs (ALL cause severe fatigue.)

Has anyone here with chronic deperssion had any luck with St. John's Wort?

Also, I have troubling ADD symptoms, which my doc says are caused by anxiety, not by actual ADD. I'm wondering if a small dose of Aderall could help? And, would Aderall + Wellbutrin be a lethal combo since they are both stimulants? (Anti-anxiety meds don't work for me -- they just knock me out. Tried Klonapin, Ativan, and Buspar.)

Thank you all for any advice/help you can give me!
