Hello hello!

The things I know a bit about...

I had sedation and sexual problems with Paxil. I found that taking a low dose of Paxil (5-10mg) plus reboxetine works fairly well for me. I think Wellbutrin plus Paxil is a more common combination to combat the side effects of Paxil.

A common problem with ADs is starting at too high a dose, and getting very bad side effects immediately. For Paxil I would start on 5mg per day, or even 2.5mg if you think you may be sensitive.

Valerian and Kava Kava are moderately effective herbal remedies for anxiety. St Johns Wort can be effective for depression, but did nothing for me.

I don't know about any specific interactions with ADs and recreational drugs, but it sounds very dangerous, I'd give up the E and coke, and find the right pharamaceutical.

> I'm new to antidepressants: I tried Paxil for a month and felt heavily sedated all the time, but my insomnia got worse. Now I am on Celexa, but I'm scared I'm going to keep having short term memory problems, start sweating, and/ or continue the extreme lack of sex drive. Paxil also made me extremely antisocial, and yawn (the same way coke or ecstasy makes your jaw tense ) This sucks. Any advice?
> I used to occasionally take E or coke (as a fun party thing) will this kill me on celexa? I am careful and drink water and "club responsibly" (by occasionally I mean once or twice a month)

Do I need to give up occasional drug use (I've lost all interest in sex)? I'd like some feedback from people who've experienced this sort of thing. Any advice on non- drug treatments for anxiety and mild depression?
