Harry B:
I wish you good luck with going back to work. Is your job deadly? Feel like a 50-pound weight on you?
I was just invited to leave my last job and being home has made me realize how grateful I am not to have to go to it. It was a burden, no fun, no creativity, etc. and I would have a cloud over me every evening knowing I had to get up and go.
Anyhow, I thought I would let you know that in order to get up on time, I use 4 alarm clocks to awake me. They are all set to go off at slightly different times, and one is a clock radio turned to a staticy station at very high (very high) volume. I still hit the snoozes on all of them (I build in time for that). And they are all fast by slightly different amounts.
Is your work environment one where you can come in between 8 and 8:30 or something? Does not sound like it. If it is, you have some leeway there.
Well, good luck to you! I wonder if being a head case will work to your advantage? Like nobody will say anything because you might act out. I bet a few weird looks would get people off your back. Or weird noises.
Oh well--I hope to be joining the workforce soon so I can continue to eat!
