BTW, my sister gave my mother a quick reference method--just remember 2 or three key equivalents--like 0 C = 32 F, and 25 C = 77 F, and 40 C = 104 F, and just estimate from there.
I discovered on a long airplane trip recently, where they kept a running tally of flight data on the tv screens, that the C and F temps meet up at somewhere between -40 and -41 degrees (the air temp outside at 36,000 feet altitude was about -54 F/ -48 C, btw). I just found that interesting.
