My doc prescribed Zyprexa because apparently it is given to people with bad drug trips, who have problems and hallucinations afterwards, to restore normalcy. Obviously misdiagnosed, Zyprexa did nothing good fro me, possibly even made things worse. I can't remeber the exact dosage. It caused terrible weight gain which I still havent been able to take off. Ironically, I was misdiagnosed again by the same doctor after another bad drug trip, and was put on another antipsychotic, Risperdol. This caused no weight gain, but it had other side effects such as restlessness and body stiffness (there are medical terms for these, I just can't remember). So, basically I got no benefits from Zyprexa because I don't have any of the schizophrenic symptoms. But I can say that it had unbearable side effects for me. Good luck.
