> Hi everyone, This drug has been wonderful for my ADD but I can feel myself becoming tolerant to it. For the first time in my life i have been able to make grocery lists, go grocery shopping, organize, clean and make meals. And this is great for my eating disorder, which when I do eat well is great for my depression and so on and so. Just being able to do these 'boring things' that i have struggled with my whole life has been great for my self esteem and consequently my depression. So I am very nervous about this tolerance I can feel building. I'm only taking 15mg a day but I'm worried that my tolerance level will keep building and building until Dexedrine does nothing for me anymore. Is this possible?

James here....

Why not save to worry till tolerance happens, if it ever does. Most ADD'ers don't become tolerant,
I never have and am on the same dose with the same effects for 5 years. You're still on the low end of the usual dose (10-40 mgs) so don't worry.
It is not uncommon to have to play with the dose
a little to find the right dose. I take 35 mgs a day and I know an ADD'er who takes 100 mgs/ day and is stable at this dose for years and you would never know this person is on anything.
