Anafranil is the worst! It compeletly kills sex (I've heard similar accounts from women as well)

I remember a doctor once (not in my area anymore) discussing the various effects of antidepressants on one's sex life. He said Anafranil was great for sex. As I think back on it, I can't decide whether he was being sarcastic, joking, or serious. So, does anyone know? I would think all TCAs would be harmful to one's sex life in one way or another, but maybe not. It sure would be a lot easier to take on the side effects of a TCA if it didn't hurt your sex life, or even actually made it better. Can anyone comment on Anafranil? I'm not sure, but I think it is also called Tofranil and Clomipramine. Thanks again. JohnL.
