at the end of second year of university students can apply for summer research scholarships where they get up to $5,000 to produce advanced research!
they seem to work on projects as a team and they are supposed to produce a poster.
it's all very advanced research. typically involving something to do with the production of a phone application that would enable people to track a health related parameter like blood pressure or whatever on their cell phones.
becuase the precedent is that District Health Boards might pay millions and millions of dollars for production of such an app.
In fact, there is precendent!
Only, it was the Waikato District Health Board paying millions and millinos of dollars to some organisation in NY under vague promises to develop an appliction. It involved one of the District Health Board members making a number of business trips to NY and staying in fancy hotels and so on...
Before the District Health Board was fired, by the Government, for corruption.
But you know, our Univerities lead the way. With industry and all that.

There is no basic science research. That I can see. Simple experiments. Good experiments.
It's all about seeming clever.
The students (on the team) being pitted against one another for who shall be awarded favored studnent (best brown-noser) status.

We are supposed to hunker down in our homes. Cambridge Curriculum by Correspondance. What is the point in achieving National Standards? National standards are not recognised internationally and will likely be taken away nationally wihtin the next 5 years or whatever.

Do much research on where to apply to.
Apply to study at a University.
We don't appear to have Universities.
Because we don't appear at all interested in international standards.
We don't have the ability to get with the program. To grasp teh ideology.
The most basic ethical / moral sense is lacking.
People here abuse their own kids. THey would eat them if they thought it would be to their own advantage. Or... They feel their job as parents is to push their kids up the great hierarcy of being at the expense of everyone else.

THeir function appears to be to conceal where the money goes.
How things are progressively worse for more and more and more and more of us as these f*ck*ng psychopaths take over the world and ruin things for us all.

when they see the talks that people give, here.
the pointless research. the immoral research.
the 'tribal leaders' of 'chief supervisors' whose job is to make sure that nobody capable of good and quality research gets research done / acknowledged as such / credited on their watch.

and i know they are full of excuses about what they are doing in training / teaching their students.
it might sound like a stupid dipshit of a research project (forecasting the increased need for general practitioners in New Zealand over the next 5 or 10 years) but it's teachign students necessary skills in data analysis and we have a data set (of completely useless survey information on what brown-nosers say they want to do into the future)...
but it isn't.
it is just marketing: 'go away. there are no good competent people here. go away. leave us to our money riches. it is too costly for you to become involved with the situation here. go away. leave us to our money / riches'.
but the sh*t don't stay here. they collect up a chunk of money and try and do things with it that creates problems for every f*ck*ng body else.
i don't know who the firm was in NY. if it was an elaborate set-up to get rid of the DHB or if the US needed to do something about the NY firm because of NZ spreading sh*t overseas as well.
Waikato Uni is just as bad. They put in a bid for a medical school recently. Because their little beady eyes lit up at the prospect of collecting up more and more and more student money while passing those studnets off as 'doctors' (for no pay) locally.
there isn't really a shortage of GPs. We have a system that creates an artifical shortage insofar as their actually is one. A system whereby you see your GP for help getting your house insulated. That kidn of thing. So the GPs spend all the time there is doign paperwork. YOu know, nobody practices medicine actually. People are only paid to make sure that nobody practices medicine actualy and the people do not have access to medicine actually. Usually in the name of equity, no less.
I mean... What do Gps do?
NOt give people antibiotics -- becase it's probably viral.
NOt test what it is -- because it's probably viral.

COllect some data. Upload the information to databases fo r the training of robotic doctors.
Hand over the data to foreign software systems and the like. Upload the data. Hand over the data. Thanks for all the data.
Try and bully / coax / cajole people into having increasing amounts of data collected. Cervical smear data. Fecal sample data. Colonoscopy biopsy data. All hte data. Have a scan. Upload data.
so we can watch the progression of what happens with you.
So that we can use the information for timely intervention of people overseas.

It's remarkable how people sell out -- without even being paid, often. People don't even sell-out. For their own personal profits. THey just sort of do what they are bullied into doing.

that's another thing that happens.
you get a surgeon writing for the NZ medical journal about how surgeons leave things inside patients.
they don't know about / they pretend not to know about surgical checklists.
they leave things inside patients...
and see what happens.
see how many of them develop complications.
how many of them don't.
it's a way of experimenting on different kinds of things.
surgical meshes and the like.
there is some waikato company that reckons it's developed sheep derived mesh or something like that.
they reckon some NY company is interested in... interested in... something something something i forget. about it.
where are there informed consent forms?
it didn't get to human trials -- did it?
they didn't just leave it inside people to see whether they developed a reaction -- did they?
were they 'medical device representatives' performing surgeries while paying us for the opportunity to experiment on our peoples?
were they really?
is that how the district health board members make their salary?
with respect to medical student training the kids of overseas tribal leaders i guess what we do in return is send a bunch of kids back to that country on their electives.
it's becoming common for our univerities to not give our medical students their medical degrees. becuase they bribed officials to go holidaying during their electives.

and of course we reciprocate by 'training' their kids, too.
