She Who Did
She who did bring me into this life
As a wee babe eyed me with scorn
I have survived a world of her strife
She who did bring me into this life
She was my Da’s shrew of a wife
Times I’d wished I’d ne’r been born
She who did bring me into this life
Filled me with lasting scorn

That was wonderful Jai. Just remember that for most of us here, it's all about transcendence.

You ARE special, _k. It's so nice to hear from you. I am slipping away spending more time with my life partner, as I should. But I check in every now and then. I enjoyed hanging with Jai on her haiku thread elsewhere. Obviously you survived the typhoon I heard about a while back. As always, I hope all is well with you.

Have missed you, too. Very much, and it's sad to know, to realize I can't come here often, anymore, because it makes me .. live in the past, I suppose.
I must vent, please allow me to express what's in my heart, full right now, filling up more and more every moment, as I type, as I remember, as I speak ...
Yesterday I was at the library, very briefly, where I've seen the ex-T in the past, and it'll take awhile to not feel trepidation and dread mixed with awesome, wonderful hope .. for love, for kindness, for acceptance .. and I looked and there at the back of the room was a man, and from the back it was just too easy to see him the way I remembered, once, sitting at his desk with his back to me, and he has a wonderfully shaped body, he's a lucky person ... and it's natural, he has so much natural beauty, and I think he knows what a gift it is, and he knows what to do with it. In our lives we all have so much responsibility to the one spirit that joins us all, because we are all, really, soulmates, every one of us is soulmate to every other one .. and I've abused that, not understanding, or knowing the connection and the meaning of that. I love you too, special_k, although in my heart I call you by your real name. xoxoxoxoxox

I've made that mistake before... thinking that you were on the big (not necessarily better) island... in school... doing what you do best... thinking... thinking deep thoughts, very deep thoughts. It's interesting to me that we can have so much difficulty interacting with people in everyday life, but we have wonderful, meaningful incounters with people we never see from lands we may never travel.

i don't know what to say.
nice to talk to you
feeling horrible today
that time of the month etc.fire alarm went off this morning.
then stopped while i was scrabbling for my shoes (can't get down the stairs without them 'cause the floor is so hard)
then something on the loudspeaker
which i couldn' hear 'cause i was scrabbling for my shoes
something aout 'a fire alarm has been activated'jeepers...
it wasn't loud at all.
i'm used to them being so loud so that the drunken people physically cannot sleep through them and remain in the building (unless they are comatose)
and what i realised... is that (and this has occured to me before) there is only one stairwell out of the building. if there is a fire in the stairwell (or preventing people from getting to the stairwell) we are screwed.
and you know what he was saying on the loudspeaker?
(i was trying to assemble outside 'cause that's what fire alarms mean in NZ anyways get the hell out of the building 'cause it might be on fire)
he was saying 'a fire alarm has been activated and please stay in your rooms until we find out why'.
well f*ck that for a joke. i went outside.
thought they might be doing a drill to time evacuation (we used to get those back home) and if we are too slow they repeat the exercies the following week...
anyway... somones jug (kettle) the steam... accident etc. sigh.
but there is only one exit :-(
and do they really expect us to just stay in our rooms when an alarm goes off?
WTF?????
there aren't any fire instructions up anywhere in this building...
hrm.
that can't be in compliance with health and safety...

????
are you talking about the storms in Queensland?
Think of Queensland as NY and me as Florida or something like that...
;-)
> It's interesting to me that we can have so much difficulty interacting with people in everyday life, but we have wonderful, meaningful incounters with people we never see from lands we may never travel.:-)
you mean you aren't coming to visit me one day :-(
aw :-(
i should be able to get over to the US at some point...
dunno where though...
east coast would be nice for me i think
(though parts of california might be nice)
and i'd like to get to austin one day :-)dunno...
we will see.
if i ever get off my *ss and do some work
and finish my thesis
and get a job
it just might be possible
maybe ;-)

I cannot imagine even one day without my mj.
Sad .. but not really :)
Because life wasn't worth much before,
sometimes you have to live your own reality
in spite of anything the Law has to say about it.
the Law, is man-made crap,
a lot of it,
to keep us easy to manage ...
but it's valid, there's good reasons for a lot of it.
For instance, I wouldn't want to be a risk to the safety of others.
That's a real issue.
Or a risk to my own safety.
Which is why I like to be happy,
and productive,
and stoned, if that's what it takes.
In any case come visit me special_k.
Sit down, beside me here on my flower-lined
veranda, out in the sun,
and have a toke.
:)
This is the end of the thread.
